Downloading photos
Everything you download is the full-quality original, exactly as the couple added it.
One photo
Section titled “One photo”Open the photo large.
On a phone, press Save. It opens your phone’s share sheet. Choose Save Image and the photo goes into your phone’s photos. If the photo takes a moment to arrive, the button asks you to tap it again. That is your phone, not a fault.
On a computer, there is no Save button. Press Download original instead. It shows the size first, such as “Download original · 8.4 MB”, and the photo goes to your downloads.
On either, View original opens the photo in a new tab. On a phone, an HEIC photo may save as a slightly smaller copy if your phone cannot keep HEIC.
A few photos
Section titled “A few photos”- Press Select in a folder, or Select photos on an album.
- Tap the photos you want.
- Download the selection. It arrives as one ZIP.
A whole album or folder
Section titled “A whole album or folder”Press Download at the top of an album or folder. It sits beside Select photos, and the size is written beneath. The list it opens says how many photos it holds and how big it is, such as “Download album · 214 photos · 1.6 GB”.
A big album can also be taken in parts. Choose “In 3 parts” (for example) and download each, one at a time. Parts suit phones and slow connections.
Opening a ZIP
Section titled “Opening a ZIP”A ZIP is a folder of photos squeezed into one file. Phones and computers open it by tapping or double-clicking it.
On an iPhone, the Files app opens ZIPs. Tap the downloaded file there.
If it stops
Section titled “If it stops”If a download stops part way, start that one again.
