Limits and Space used
Space used
Section titled “Space used”Settings shows Space used: how much of your gallery’s storage you have used, such as “12 GB of 100 GB”.
The count includes your originals, the smaller copies guests see, photos in Recently deleted and photos guests have added.
When it is nearly full
Section titled “When it is nearly full”From 90%, the gallery says so on Settings, when you add photos and on Guest photos. At 100%, no more photos can be added, by you or by guests. Guests are told kindly that the gallery has no room for the moment.
To make room:
- Delete photos you no longer want, then delete them forever in Recently deleted. Photos in Recently deleted still count until then.
- Download what you want to keep (Downloads) before you do.
Describing photos
Section titled “Describing photos”The site describes and tags each photo, which is what lets it choose Featured photos and offer tags. There is a limit to how many photos it describes for each gallery: 5,000 by default. Photos past the limit are still added and shown. They just have no description or tags from the site.
Guest photos
Section titled “Guest photos”The upload link has limits of its own. See Guest photos.
